As well as being home to a financially well-off population, this little corner of Asia is also home to the highest number of millionaires on the continent.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Singapore, time to eat!<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Asian continent is generally renowned for its <\/span><b>culinary arts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Singapore is no exception! Demand for classes on <\/span><b>food and wine pairing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>viticulture<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>sommellerie <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is growing. Demand for <\/span><b>wine-tasting sessions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is also growing. This goes hand in hand with an affluent population interested in <\/span><b>luxury products<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Yes, <\/span><b>French wine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> remains a luxury in <\/span><b>Southeast Asia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Singapore: a strategic location for the Southeast Asian wine trade<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a true <\/span><b>hub of trade in Southeast Asia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Singapore is in an absolutely <\/span><b>strategic position<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to exchange and trade with other countries. As far as the <\/span><b>wine trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in particular is concerned, countries such as <strong>Vietnam<\/strong>, <strong>Malaysia<\/strong>, <strong>Indonesia<\/strong>, <strong>Myanmar<\/strong>, <strong>Laos<\/strong>, <strong>Korea<\/strong> and <strong>China<\/strong> often source their products from <strong>Singapore<\/strong>. This gives them the assurance that their products are <\/span><b>genuine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and not counterfeit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A true king of international logistics in terms of organization and infrastructure, Singapore remains dependent on international trade. In fact, in 2016, 90% of the food consumed in Singapore was imported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wine import<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Singaporeans like to accompany their meals with a <\/span><b>good bottle of wine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, local production is non-existent. While 90% of consumer products are imported, the figure for wine is 100%. <\/span><b>France is Singapore&#8217;s 4th largest wine exporter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, after Germany, China and the United States. Especially since the Covid episode.
